I'm not sure if this applies to you. The OP in this post has a Streamzap
remote also. There is a patch posted which he applied to the source. You
could grab a source RPM for LIRC and recompile the rpm to see if that fixes
the issue.
The only thing is that the current Fedora version of LIRC for FC24 is
0.9.4a and this bug looks like it was fixed in 0.9.3a.
