I'm used to getting the remote configured and tested with IRW *before* I

And then map the remote presses to the keybindings to operate Myth. I am 
familiar how to do this under LIRC. I just want to know how you do it 
with FLIRC.

Yeah I was a bit confused by Amazon selling it with a Rasberry Pi 2. I 
assume as a Kodi thing. But if there is a mapping thing going on there 
must be a piece of software to install under Linux. Especially if you 
can use any remote with it.
