Favorites does the same thing as the "/" key.... not super useful, but we
do use it sometimes.

Options has been assigned to various things over the years.  Picture
adjustments for a while, until we got a better TV.... Now we use it for
aspect ratio ("W").

I really don't think you will be disappointed.  Keep in mind that you can
continue to use your existing remote.  We did that for a long time, it's
really handy with both my wife and I having a remote when we are sitting in
our respective recliners... now when she falls asleep I have to get up and
dig through her blanket in search of the remote.  The only reason we
stopped using our MCE remote (almost identical to yours) was that it didn't
have volume controls, and we had both gotten so familiar with the Sony that
we kept hitting the wrong buttons on the MCE remote.
