Are you installing with the new GLNVD or the legacy
non-GLNVD libraries? As I recall, the new GLNVD
libraries do not support some of the nvidia proprietary
capabilities, so some things are likely broken until
the apps are updated with the new GLNVD.

There is an active community over on the nvidia forums
for linux users, and reports of issues are welcome
(and as I recall there are instructions on how to
submit bug data to nvidia). I would start there (as
it is likely that only the nvidia devs are going to be
able to address any breakage).

MythTV Forums: https://forum.mythtv.orgHi,
Just wanting to share that I think I am experiencing the same issue.
Nvidia 610 GT card. Ubuntu Wily, 361.28 driver from Proprietary GPU Drivers ppa, packaged by Michael Marley.  Have only just started testing and didn't have time to collect my logs aso far before coming to work this morning but will attempt to collect and post more if I get some time in front of the mythbox/TV this evening.

I notice that the debian repos provide both legacy and GLNVD package versions, while the packages from Ubuntu Proprietary GPU Drivers ppa are unspecified. Does anyone know how to identify which libraries are installed?

Anyway. Main reason for posting now is if anyone already has a fix for the issue (aside from downgrading to the latest driver known to work (I also had stuttering with the 352.21 driver, but hadn't set up my xorg.conf at that stage.

BR.
