Hi Anthony,

Check out my answer earlier in this thread (but not properly assigned to it, as I answer to the digest). There I wrote some config printouts of my system, including the udev rule.

Good luck,
Nicolas

When I began configuring my Soundgraph imon device (Silverstone LC 16MR
case) I wondered why the device /dev/lcdX was working only sometimes. And
sometimes it did not. Then I found out that the device number was not
static. It changed after a reboot. So it might be that /dev/lcd0 was
 /dev/lcd1 after a reboot.

As a workaround I used an udev rule that created a symbolic link (e.g.
 /dev/imon-lcd) that pointed to /dev/lcdX).

Maybe that is a hint to help solving the imon problem.

 Swanseasurfing,

do you mind sharing your udev rule? I've noticed this behavior since
upgrading from 12:04 to 14:04

Cheers,

Anthony
