Sometimes (and only sometimes) the local stations are
  (a) Not aware they are doing this
   -and-
  (b) Are willing to correct it if is brought to their attention

So, if you have not done so, send email to their
engineering department (depending on the channel
it could be under various forms of "About us",
"Contact us", "Engineering", "Reporting signal issues",
"Technology", and sometimes you actually have to
make a call to find out the contact).

And, of course, sometimes the local station does not care.
