I have been trying some of the suggestions in the mailing list for this
issue.
At the moment, I have blacklisted a few modules:
blacklist lirc_zilog
blacklist rc-hauppauge
My last few recordings have been successful, but I am still cautious to
state the issue is resolved. Fortunately, I don't need the remote
capabilities of the hdpvr.
