What video card does the laptop use? If it is an Nvidia, and the 1/4
screen you are seeing is not the full mythfrontend screen but just
part of it, you may need to run "xrandr --auto" from a terminal to get
it to use the full screen. And check what version of the Nvidia
drivers it is using - the 340 version seems to be the last ones that
mythfrontend is fully compatible with. Later versions seem to use
non-integer xrandr settings to select things, and mythfrontend only
uses the older integer settings.
