Next you should investigate how those permissions got wrong. For
instance because you had the backend started with other credentials or
they were from a previous install with a different UID for the mythtv
user and you did not update those rights, etc. This to prevent it from
happening again.

I think it has to do with switching on slow deleting and back off again,
then trying to delete those that remained undeleted In the deleted storage
group via the GUI. Not having confidence in my ability to find the real
culprit, I'll take a wait and see posture for now. Thanks again, and
