First I would try

rpm -e --nodeps nvidia-driver-cuda-libs

rpm -e --nodeps lirc-core

I just did the f23 > f24 upgrade too, with --allowerasing.  That seemed 
to go smoothly, but now I have a gcc 6.2.1 path-problem in building Myth 
master.  Posted on the dev list.
