[mythtv-users] building Mythtv without Mythbuntu??

Just saw this thread...

I build my systems on Arch Linux and their wiki contains some useful steps on database setup, etc

Obviously the package names, etc will be different, but it's worth a look in case there's something here that can help with *buntu users:

Once I perfect my install using this method, I'll probably do another step by step for the read-between-the-lines impaired, like myself.
