Hi all,

I've just this week installed a fresh copy of mythbuntu 16.04 on an old pc.
Everything appears to be working well except for transcoding recordings.

When I transcode a recording to MPEG-4 (with or without High Quality or
advanced motion estimation checked in the recording profile) it corrupts
the video. Audio is fine, but the video looks like a test signal. The
corruption is visible in mythweb (the thumbnail shows a frame of the
corrupted video) and through the openelec kodi pvr.mythtv plugin, I don't
use mythfrontend. All recordings are from australian DVB-T channels, the
files in the recordings folder have the extension .ts

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?
