I suspect the installed version of mythfrontend has not been built with
openmax decoding.
What is the output of mythfrontend --version ?
In the last few days I tried building mythtv on Ubuntu Mate 16.04
Raspberry using the same recipe I used on Wily (15.10) but it seg faults
when trying to open display using either xcb or eglfs.
