DHCPv6 doesn't give out routes, and clients won't use it unless at least one RA has the managed flag set - otherwise the clients will just auto-config address(es) using the info in RAs.

Thank you for that. One can peruse RFCs till the cows come home but they don't really help at the 
practical level.

As for whether my ISP can do IPv6, I don't know. I haven't yet been able to configure my router to 
do IPv6 properly yet. (pfSense on a Jetway mini-ITX board. Even their own forums don't help.)
