In v0.27, I couldn't get a HLS transcoding to be playable anywhere. Not the
app, the web frontend, etc. Had numerous reports of the same issue. I then
moved to v0.28 and all those issues stopped. I am not familiar with that
code so I couldn't tell you what changed between the versions. However, I
believe it was a comment in the IRC channel that prompted me to upgrade to
resolve it. I have been on v0.28 for quite some time now and have not had
an issue transcoding. For me, it affected all HD recordings from my
HDHomeRun Prime boxes and all media I ripped to mkv files. I will review
these other issues to see if I experienced any of them as well.
