[mythtv-users] HD-PVR strangeness and "new high-speed USB device" messages

Greetings,

My HD-PVR was behaving strangely. Many recordings failed. I would cycle
power on the HD-PVR and the device file would not disappear as it did in
the past. I had to leave it powered off during the reboot, then it began
to work.

I did replace the power supply 2 years ago, maybe it's time again?

I am also getting these messages in my "message" log, around every 10
seconds:

2015-09-13T21:09:41.103545-07:00 mythtv kernel: [ 848.700568] usb

I do have an iMon VFD on the system, could these messages be due to
clock updates, recording messages, etc?
