[mythtv-users] TORC iPhone/iPad remote detection of frontends

Yeah, mine is in /etc/ but it does not seem to have any effect on TORC or
myth, unless it is somehow used at compile time?

I've got a vaguely similar set-up and one file that is unique per host is
/var/lib/dbus/machine-id
