[mythtv-users] Transcoding Audio Options

I'm trying to transcode my video files from what it's recorded in (mpeg2)
into mpeg4 and having problems with it...mostly with audio. It seems like
the audio doesn't play at all.

In the transcoding configuration profile, I have "Uncompressed 48000Hz" for
the audio. The other option is 'mp3'. I didn't choose 'mp3' because I am
assuming that mp3 can't do multiple channels....which I could be wrong, but
not sure.

When I have the finished transcode, I end up with this:

    Stream #0:1: Audio: pcm_s16le (RAWA / 0x41574152), 48000 Hz, 2
channels, s16, 1536 kb/s

In the original mpeg2, I have this:

    Stream #0:1[0x1382](eng): Audio: ac3 ([129][0][0][0] / 0x0081), 48000
Hz, 5.1(side), fltp, 384 kb/s
    Stream #0:2[0x1383](spa): Audio: ac3 ([129][0][0][0] / 0x0081), 48000
Hz, mono, fltp, 192 kb/s

Is there a way to just copy the audio stream instead of transcoding it, but
yet transcode and resize the video?

Thanks!
Mike
