I don't seem to have that process running at all. I think I'm using
syslogd for logging. I could be wrong about this, as I don't seem to be
passing that option to the process.

ExecStart=/usr/bin/mythbackend --logpath /var/log/mythtv
I believe I'm logging to /var/log/messages and also to /var/log/mythtv
Here is a clip from the log covering that last run of mythfrontend: I cut
the video off at 11:56, so those entries occurred afterward. I ran this
just now to the same results.
Mar 12 11:51:44 myhost kernel: [ 3332.048184] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1b.0:

I'm not sure what bdl_pos_adj is. I have been trying unsuccessfully to get
rid of this message by adding parameters to snd-hda-intel at boot. I don't
have sound stuttering issues at the moment. More than a few posts I've
seen on this topic say it's just a kernel warning.
Oh, one more point -- I'm running Fedora 21 here.
Thanks for your help!
Jerry
