Mark - thanks for the heads-up on the ticket. I was not aware that the 
problem had been documented and a ticket had been opened. This problem 
impacts a fundamental use of MythTV - watching TV! I hope it can be 
remedied quickly.

Any idea how to interpret or apply the Frames decoded/free metric?
