I hope so, but naming in the kerneldriver and in X and even between
open-source and closed drivers varies. So check your boot log or dmesg
For the kernel I have always seen it with the hiven, but sometimes
based 0 and other times based 1. Mostly it is VGA, DVI-I and HDMI, but
Nvidia in X uses CRT, DFP and TV and maybe there are other standards.
If you're using opensource, you can at the same line set the terminal
resolution: video=HDMI-1:1920x1024-32 at 60. So you see immediately if
you use the right identifier (32 is colordepth, 60 refreshrate)
