It's not too bad if you set up the channels ahead of time and just mark
them invisible, then when a preview comes along set them as visible; you'll
already have the listing data for them. It doesn't fix the potential for
broken recordings, but you could set a reminder for yourself. That's what
I've been doing, but Comcast seems to have previews only rarely. Somebody
mentioned http://www.freepreview.tv/ earlier, so I'll re-plug it here
because it's handy.
