If you want more fun, you can get a json listing using
http://<ip>/lineup.json?show=all
Since the information is in there, you can determine your
subscribed channels and content protection flags. There
are all sorts of possibilities with that information (I suppose
it might even be possible to notice a free preview and mark
the channel visible for those days using the python bindings
and the service API).

But Schedules Direct also depends on *you* to notice when
things are broken or missing. Such as when a new subchannel
is added for corporate overlord reasons (can I say KPIX?)
In theory Gracenote will eventually get things updated, and
Schedules Direct will then get things updated, but sometimes
Gracenote seems to need a "push" to get things started. One
of the benefits of your Schedules Direct membership is someone
to start the pushing. I have pushed a few times even for
channels I will never watch, just because it may help others
that get the data.
