i thought the API was updated last month?: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/587679

i could probably do the.py changes and contribute back since they wouldn't need recompiling. much more than changing scripts and it's typically far out of my zone. never touched python, let alone C or any of the other languages myth is built on.

anyway... whats the deal with the API - has or hasn't it been updated with the link i just gave? maybe a question for Jonatan in the gossamer link since he contributed the change..
my guess is with BBC iPlayer claiming it needs an API update and youtube not, that the API isnt the issue for youtube.
