Why?

I have a Samsung Note 4 and tried a few of the free IR Remote apps.
Some didn't support the MCEUSB protocol, some did.  Generally the
button layout was terrible, there were obnoxious ads, and it was less
responsive than using mythmote over wifi, but it did work.  I could
emit the IR signals which were picked up by my MCEUSB receiver and
processed by mythfrontend.  I can't say I care to repeat the
experience, though.
