http://download.ecs.com.cn/dlfileecs/manual/liva/LIVA_minipc.kit.pdf) says
that the BIOS option enables USB resume from S3. That is the sleep state
but not completely powered off. You should be able to modify the
appropriate scripts/settings to sleep when he presses the power button or
selects shutdown in MythFrontend.
