If it hasn't already been mentioned, check the manuals to see if you can 
reprogram the labels for the inputs and turn off inputs that you aren't 
using.  Having to live with "HDMI1" instead of "Myth" or even "DVR" is 
really annoying.  A lot of TVs don't let you turn off the built-in tuner 
input, which is just stupid when almost everyone lives with a cable box.

Also, pay attention to how it changes input.  I've seen some where the 
input button brings up a menu, so you have to hit "Input," "Arrow" 
(several times), and "Enter" to change inputs, not keep pressing the 
same button to cycle through them.
