Some LG TVs running googletv will run xbmc, but not well.
When androidtv hits the market in TVs you may be able to use kodi, and
with it the kodi frontend to mythtv. However this will depend to a
great extent on how locked down the TV manufactuers make their
systems. IE can you sideload programs? Do they have open access
accelerated playback?
I think there is even less reason to get a smart tv with Samsung's
revelations today about their voice activation reporting home
bulldust.
