This may explain both the audio drift in livetv and the deinterlacer
downgrading. Starting lievtv, it uses vaapi. After a channel change (or
maybe even a program boundary), switches to ffmpeg (software) decoding. The
cpu can't keep up, and you see both symptoms.

While in livetv, go to M > Playback > Playback Data and see if the symptoms
happen when it uses ffmpeg.
