The most important thing is :
check, recheck, and check again - then stop and check again ... that you know exactly which device is which.

It's "a tad annoying" if you mix them up and copy an empty drive to the one you meant to clone (or some other permutation that wipes your data). Though "a tad annoying" isn't usually what I say at the time :-(


And don't forget that they can come up in different permutation when booting from different sources.
