I do not live there, but I have this recollection
(from a discussion elsewhere) that Nine, about
a month ago, changed their muxes around.
I am going to guess that the signal timeouts
that occur during tuning/scan are no longer
sufficient in some cases (it may take just a little
longer to tune/lock).  You might try increasing
the timeouts.
