The problem I believe is that Plex has to transcode the recording so the
delay is in the plex transcoder.  As I understand it, Plex on Android won't
direct play my recorded mpeg-ts files so transcodes them. I imagine it is
possibly the same for the Chromecast but haven't dug into it to confirm.

I was hoping that a Nexus Player would be able to play mpeg-ts direct but
haven't been able to confirm.
