Hello everyone,

Before I complain to Nielsen about missing EIT data, can anyone confirm
that the situation is like I see it here, and not a problem with my
configuration or reception?

I get 72 channels total. Most have good (*) EIT data for varying periods.

These are the channels that have problematic EIT data:

24.x	No data at all, ever. Since I've been using Myth, I've never
seen EIT data on any of these channels. Am I correct to assume
that they just don't transmit it? or should I tweak some item in
my setup? I receive them just fine.

25.3	(CUNY TV) Very sporadic. Right now there is no EIT data, even
though 25.1 and 25.2 do. This makes it likely that they're not
transmitting it. It's likely not my reception.

34.x	No data at all. I don't think I've ever seen any. I receive
34.1 and 34.2 just fine, 34.3 pops up a window that says "Could
not read first 2048 bytes" and fails.

45.x	No data at all. I can receive them just fine, but no data,
presumably because they're shopping channels. Correct?

48.x	No data at all, and when I try to watch it live I get this
error: "Error opening jump program file buffer". Does anyone
know why this happens? Had to power-cycle the tuner to get rid
of this error. I get no reception of these channels at this
time (only TL lock myth says), so it's likely that poor data
messed up the tuner or the driver.

50.1	I've seen EIT data a long time ago, but nothing since. I wonder
if this is a problem with my setup or some corruption in the
database. Can someone confirm that 50.1 has EIT data? I
	receive the channel just fine.

51,x	These channels all show TBA, so they're transmitting EIT data,
	but it's useless.

63.1	Sporadic.
	63.2,3,4: never.
	63.5,6,7: ok.
So, I presume that EIT data is not transmitted on the
	sub-channels where I don't get it.

Can someone confirm my findings?

* When I say "good" eit data, I mean in the sense that I get data, as
opposed to none. All EIT data has the seemingly random issue that was
being discussed in a thread earlier today about the program contents
being mismatched to the actual show. This issue apparently affects data
received by Schedules Direct too.

Thanks!

Augustine
