*Cut and paste of Paul Bender's response *

"Until recently, I had not been doing any work on MiniMyth. I had continued
to run MythTV 0.24 using a CentOS 5 server for a several years. However,
now that I have time again, I have been making updates to MiniMyth and will
be uploading new binary versions soon. I am now running MythTV 0.27 using a
CentOS 6 server (as well as MythTV 0.24 using a CentOS 6 server).

Therefore, observations that MiniMyth is dead are understandable. However,
it is not. It is in active development.

In addition, a former MiniMyth user warpme has created the MiniMyth2
distribution that better meets warpme’s needs (<http://minimyth2.linuxd.org>).
So people should check that out as well as it may fit their needs more
closely. That is a beauty of Open Source.

It is possible that there are others that I do not know about.

Is there something I should do to let the community know that I am not
dead? In the past I worked on the project and helped people as they needed
it. I did it for me and the people that used it. I didn’t have any outreach
plan."

I suggested he join the mailing list and/or create a forum post. As I've
already mentioned his response here, I think it unnecessary to do so again.
If anyone has any other suggestions for outreach, email Paul at
webmaster at minimyth.org.
