Jim, thank you for your support.

No, the call doesn't even show up in the log, which is expectable 
because mythtv didn't start to write and I guess this call, in this 
particular case, is made when a valid reading to the file is achieved, 
meaning that writing is started (not by mythtv in this case).

But, once more, the log shows the correct and complete file path.
