Will a DB upgrade ever care that this location doesn't exist? Or can I get
away with adjusting it in mythtv-setup before I ever start mythbackend?
I see two of my old locations in the 1264 (0.24-2) converted database:
table 'storagegroup' field 'dirname' (/recordings)
table 'settings' 'RecordFilePrefix' (/home/mythtv/video/recordings)
'MythArchiveTempDir' (/home/mythtv/tmp/)
'DVDRipLocation' (/home/mythtv/tmp/)
'GalleryDir' (/home/mythtv/rgam)
'MusicLocation' (/home/mythtv/music)
'VideoStartupDir' (/home/mythtv/video/videos)
If I can change these fields after conversion then my question is moot.
Otherwise, will I have to make sure that /recordings and
/home/mythtv/video/{recordings,video} exist before conversion?
I think I answered my own question though: the first conversion didn't
care. The second one probably won't. But just in case anyone ever wonders
like I did. I'm still assuming I can adjust everything with mythtv-setup
before mythbackend ever starts.
