Thanks for your response, Daryl. I have not been adding that switch, no.
But I did just now try it. Both as user and as root. But I still do not
see schedule info beyond a couple of days on OTA channels. So I'm
continuing to investigate.

Interesting to know about this. But I don't think that can explain the
issue I'm seeing since I have another MythTV machine here that does
successfully bring in scheduling data beyond 12-24 (and 72) hours. So the
data does seem to be available that far out, it's just that this machine
is not grabbing it for some reason.
