[mythtv-users] Need help with supporting iguanaIR in upgrade from ubuntu 10.04 to ubuntu 14.04

I thought I had worked out everything, but now I'm not sure what to
do. I have the four transmitter version of IguanaWorks iguanaIR which
has been working fine on my old system running ubuntu 10.04. I'm
hoping to finish migrating to ubuntu 14.04 today, but I'm under a
deadline to get done before tonight's recordings start, if I can
manage it.

I used to have to compile a custom version of lirc to incorporate the
driver for the iguana device, but it is already supported in the
kernel modules -- iguanair shows up in the output of lsmod.

My problem is I'm having trouble is that I can't tell:
    A) If I still have to compile a custom lirc version, or,
if not, then what do I have to do to:
    1) Send blaster commands to the four individual blaster output ports
    2) Define key codes for the outputs
    3) Define key codes for the inputs from several remotes I have
(faster to switch remotes than find more batteries sometimes). This
last may be redundant with the output key codes.

TIA,
Craig.
