I believe the GT 720 is a GK208 card, but with fewer shaders enabled
(although there are reportedly two different revs available), and a lower
clock speed than the GT 730 (rev 2).  Possibly different memory types
also depending on the specific card(s).  The qvdpautest bench marks
suggest that a GT720 should be able to accomplish advanced 2x, but
I there is a dearth of actual hands-on testing in an HTPC.  You could
let us know your experience should you purchase it.
