I'm not familiar with the GT610,  but the GT730 is a nice card.  Low 
power, works well with vdpau, probably overkill if you just watch tv.

I have the gddr5 version and it plays most steam games reasonably 
well.   Its a decent mid range card that works well with mythtv.
