If you recorded it with a HDHR or something like that, I would edit it 
in Myth and use the lossless transcode to get what you want. Then copy 
the file (use 'ls -ltr' in the recordings directory after transcoding to 
find the latest file).  In the past, I would then use MythArchive, but 
I'm not sure if it's working these days.

Once you have the file, there are lots of pages on how to create a DVD 
on Linux, so Google will find a number of options for you.

Or you could just upload the file to YouTube and point them at it. 
Depending on their needs, that may be a good solution.
