[mythtv-users] Need to update kernel because of PCTV 292e stick .. help

You can go here http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/  at the
bottom are the kernels your looking for.
Download which ever one you need, make sure you download all three i386 or
x64 and the all package.

open up the terminal

cd PATH TO THE FOLDER CONTAINING THE DEBS

sudo dpkg -i *.deb

if you have proprietary drivers ati,nvidia reinstall to build for new
kernel.

reboot

If you have any problems just boot to grub change kernel and boot.
