I have no experience with digital virtual tuners or subchannels, but I
know when scheduling it doesn't work chronologically. It first
schedules the shows with the highest priority to the tuners available
with the highest priority and so down the priority chain. Also in your
recording rule you can set the tuner you want to use and wether it
should favour digital channels.
