Hi,

Some of my earlier post got removed, but not the part of
it working *will* for me. It also works *well. ;)

Try:

     yourBackendHostnameOrIP:6544

Expect to see the MythTV logo in the upper left and
below it, vertically, the word Menu. Hover over that
and you should see a list of choices, pick TV.
