I have one of them for DVB-C in my Ubuntu system.

The driver is not in the kernel, but you can have it "automagically" 
compiled at every kernel-update with the package 
'media-build-experimental-dkms', available over a ppa.

I have been using this card for two years now, and it has been doing 
well for that time.
