agreed, but fully functional,would you recommend chown-ing them?

there is one file and one directory in there with the ntp while the rest
have mythtv, no problem thus far?

this being the drive that has most available space is getting a recording
as I type, doesn't seem to be broken?

Thanks for the replies and critiques, I'm trying to find a balance where I
do what is necessary, instead of everything possible, which has bitten my
backside in the past.
