[mythtv-users] Mythbuntu 14.04 anomalies

I recently upgraded from Mythbuntu 12.04 to 14.04 on multiple front
ends. After some study I have all but a Zotac AD03 behaving
satisfactorily. This particular machine outputs to a Samsung 55C7000
through a Denon AV amp. Previously I could shut the TV and amp down and
restart them with no problem. With 14.04 that is not true, when I
restart them I must also reboot the Myth FE for it to recognize that it
is connected to a device. I also discovered that the line for display
drivers was no longer in MCC and that the FE was not running fglrx. I
installed fglrx from Ubuntu Software Center and the shutdon/restart
problem with the TV/Amp combination disappeared. That now works fine.
Unfortunately several Setup screens no longer work. I have confirmed
that the Setup Wizard and the Edit Keys still work while General and
Video do not. Displays now have a border and are not full screen. I can
adjust that somewhat using the TV controls but I can't completely
eliminate the border.

Is this the behavior I should expect on this machine after installing 14.04?
