I tried compiling mythcommflag using the 0.27 source but backing out any 
changes I thought had to do with commercial detection between 0.27 and 
0.24.  I was able to get it to run but I get the same results as before. 
  It seems to quite after a bunch of these errors.

That message doesn't seem to be in the 0.24 source.  I only see that 
message once in my HD recordings and I think it's after it's run out of 
data in a buffer.

I'm pretty sure whatever changed was between 0.24 and 0.25 if that's any 
help.
