I upgraded the HDPVR firmware to 1.7 (0x1e) from 1.6 (0x17), and so far 
so good.  No issues in the last hour.  I'll keep it running longer to 
see if it's working.

Since I'm running Ubuntu 12.04, I did get hit by the color/saturation 
issue, but that was an easy fix.
