Like Anthony, I am attempting to use the /etc/hosts method with IP
54.85.117.227 with MythTV 0.24.1. The mfdb log suggests that I'm
getting guide data for the expected period. From this morning's run:
2014-10-25 08:05:43.048 Grab complete. Actual data from Fri Oct 24
13:05:11 2014 to Sat Nov 8 13:05:11 2014 (UTC)
However, Myth reports that no new data was inserted and I only have data
through Nov 6:
Last mythfilldatabase run started on 2014-10-25 08:05:51 and ended
on 2014-10-25 08:05:51. mythfilldatabase ran, but did not insert any new
data into the Guide for 4 of 4 sources. This can indicate a potential
grabber failure.
There's guide data until 2014-11-06 19:00 (12 days).

I've copied the mfdb run's section of the Myth log here:

Questions:
1. Short of using tcpdump or writing a wget wrapper, how can I capture
the downloaded guide data for manual examination?
2. The backend status shows the begin and end times of the mfdb run to
be the same, and these do not match the start and end times for mfdb in
the log. Is this a hint to the problem?
Thanks.
Keith
